Skiploom #188

Biology

Skiploom is a plant Pokémon with a spherical, green body and short arms, legs, and tail. It has big, flat ears on its sides and oval, orange eyes with no pupils. A golden blossom with a white center sits atop its head. Skiploom spreads its petals as far as possible to absorb as much sunlight as possible. The bloom on top of its head opens and closes when the temperature changes, and its flower blooms when the temperature increases over 64 degrees Fahrenheit (18 degrees Celsius). As a result, it is occasionally used as a thermometer. It floats in the air to get closer to the light, but when it rains, it shuts its bloom and shelters beneath the shadow of a tree. Skiploom is found in temperate grasslands. The bloom on its head may spin clockwise, as shown in the games.
