Celebrating This Squirtle Community Day with US! Niantic and Nintendo's blockbuster mobile game, Pokémon Go , will be staging events throughout the globe this summer, with the first one taking place this past weekend in Dortmund, Germany. Not to leave the rest of the world out, they established tasks for everyone to fulfill in order to unlock unique prizes in-game, and gamers completed the first objective, which enabled legendary raids starring Articuno .
This Legendary bird has previously appeared in the game, twice, in various events—but this time, players will have the opportunity to capture a glossy version. It's also known that in the past, shiny legendary Pokémon had a 100% capture rate, but there's been no clarity on whether this applies here.
