Squirtle Community Day in July 8, 2018

Celebrating This Squirtle Community Day with US! Niantic and Nintendo's blockbuster mobile game, Pokémon Go, will be staging events throughout the globe this summer, with the first one taking place this past weekend in Dortmund, Germany. Not to leave the rest of the world out, they established tasks for everyone to fulfill in order to unlock unique prizes in-game, and gamers completed the first objective, which enabled legendary raids starring Articuno. This Legendary bird has previously appeared in the game, twice, in various events—but this time, players will have the opportunity to capture a glossy version. It's also known that in the past, shiny legendary Pokémon had a 100% capture rate, but there's been no clarity on whether this applies here.
(Pokemongolive.com) We go through the fundamentals of the July Community Day as it was initially published. Since then, they've announced that Blastoise, the last generation of Squirtle, would acquire a special move, Hydro Cannon, if evolved between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. PST on July 8th. It will be regarded as one of the most powerful Water-type attacks in the game, so keep an eye out for those Blastoise! Second, and perhaps more importantly, Niantic has revealed another surprise for the Squirtle Community Day: if a player completes special Squirtle-themed Field Researches during the event, they will be able to obtain a Squirtle with sunglasses, a clear nod to the 'Squirtle Squad,' a rambunctious and troublesome Squirtle who appeared in the Pokémon Anime series (featured in the banner image above). They initially debuted in the popular animated series in Episode 012, Here Comes The Squirtle Squad, which first aired in Japan in 1997 (1998 in the United States), but have since had several cameos throughout the series' length, totalling six appearances. Pokémon Go's global event tour will continue with a visit in Chicago for Pokémon Go Fest (July 14th-15th), followed by a Pokémon Go Safari Zone in Yokosuka, Kanagawa, Japan.

Niantic published and produced Pokémon Go, which was launched internationally on July 6, 2016. It is a free-to-play smartphone game in which players must use location-based and augmented reality (AR) technology to capture monsters in the real world.

Squirtle Community Day is Here!

In addition to the sunglasses-wearing Squirtle, players will most certainly discover a Shiny Squirtle on this week's Community Day, since every prior Community Day has brought Shiny versions of its highlighted Pokemon. Furthermore, any Wartortle that develops into Blastoise before the conclusion of the Community Day will learn the devastating Water-type move Hydro Cannon. Instead than being held at a set location, this month's Community Day takes place over a three-hour period that begins at various times depending on where you reside. The Community Day schedule for each area is shown below: North America
  • 11 AM - 2 PM PT
  • 2 PM - 5 PM ET
Europe and Africa
  • 10 AM - 1 PM BST
Asia-Pacific
  • 12 PM - 3 PM JST
Finally, gamers that participate in this month's Community Day will be eligible for additional in-game benefits. Eggs will hatch at a fraction of the normal distance during the duration of the event. Any Lure Modules triggered during the event will also last three hours, rather than the regular 30-minute restriction. Even if you already have a Squirtle, Wartortle, and Blastoise, it's a fantastic motivation to join in the game. Trainers will also have access to shorter egg hatching distances and 3-hour Lures, as previously revealed. That's in addition to the possibility to catch a rare shiny Squirtle. Squirtle_Sunglasses_community_day   It's also an excellent cause for teams to compete with one another. Team Mystic is being held back by Team Valor and Team Instinct, according to the Larvitar Community Day results. Team Mystic's blues would win the overall battle once again, but this time it would be quite closer. Team Mystic would capture the most Pokemon in Europe, South America, and Africa. Team Instinct's yellows would conquer once again in North America, while Team Valor's reds would triumph in Asia and Oceania. Maybe the reds and yellows can go a little farther for the July Community Day celebration.
