Biology

Rampardos is a gigantic, dark-gray dinosaur Pokémon that looks like a Pachycephalosaurus. It has a dome head that covers its crimson eyes. It has blue stripes on its tail, as well as on its knees and wrists. It has spikes on each knee, two on its blue collar, two small ones on its nose, and four on its skull. Two of these spikes on the skull are larger than the other two.

Its power comes from its vicious head-butting strikes. A charging Rampardos can take down almost anything with a single blow. It thrived in rainforests 100 million years ago, tearing down jungle trees while capturing food. It likes ramming its head against items to hone its strength and reflexes. This caused its skull to become tougher than steel and a foot thick, preventing it from fainting if it collides with anything, even another charging Rampardos. People used to dig out its well-developed skull fossil and wear it as a helmet in ancient times. However, since its skull became so big, its brain shrank even more than Cranidos', leading to beliefs that it fell extinct due to its idiocy. Its remains have been discovered alongside those of Bastiodon, indicating that the two shared a habitat.
