This morning, Pokemon Go revealed that the first Safari Zone event of 2019 will take place on January 25 in Porto Alegre, Brazil. The game regularly hosts similar live events in various nations, offering users the opportunity to connect and catch uncommon Pokémon they wouldn't normally be able to discover in their neighborhood.
Pokemon including Psyduck, Unown, and Relicanth—a regionally specific Pokemon not often seen in South America—will be present during the event, which will take place along the freshly restored Guaiba riverside. Also, there will be unique picture opportunities, an exclusive in-app badge, and 2 KM eggs carrying unique Pokémon throughout the event. Moreover, according to the promotional picture, the event would also incorporate the Dragon-type Pokemon Bagon and the starters Turtwig, Chimchar, and Piplup from Sinnoh.
For players who can't attend, Pokemon Go will also raise the spawn rates of numerous Pokémon spotted during the event throughout Brazil. Moreover, Psyduck spawns will multiply globally, raising the possibility that a Shiny Psyduck may appear as a consequence of the event.

But there will be more Psyduck available overseas all weekend for those who can't make it to Porto Alegre.
Guaba will host the Brazilian Safari Zone from January 25 to January 27, 2019.
