Biology

Pelipper is a pelican-like Pokémon that is mostly made up of its head and beak. It is covered with white feathers and has a small blue crest on top of its head. It has three blue fingers on each of its broad wings, as well as three webbed digits on each of its feet. Each eye is made up of two black semicircles connected by a horizontal white line. Its big yellow beak seems to run the length of its underbelly.

Pelipper's bill has a neck pouch big enough to hold a small kid and is used to transport eggs and little Pokémon such as Pyukumuku. It skims over the tops of the waves, scooping food from the water and swallowing it in one mouthful. It may consume up to 30 Wishiwashi at once. It makes its nest on rocky rocks overlooking the sea. Pelipper's young males are in charge of obtaining food and bringing it back to the nest. It may also be observed bobbing in the water with its wings out. It enjoys eating abandoned Luvdisc that are too depressed to be watchful near the water surface.
