Gible Community Day in June 6, 2021

Gible, the pre-evolved form of Garchomp, is the featured Pokemon, which people have long sought. Today, the Land Shark Pokemon will occur more regularly in the wild, and Niantic is also providing a few extra in-game incentives. Here's all you need to know about Pokemon Go's June 2021 Community Day to help you prepare.

Gible Community Day is Here in June 2021

The Land Shark Pokemon Gible is this month's highlighted monster. Gible will come in the wild considerably more often than usual throughout the event, giving you more chances to capture it and stock up on Gible Candy.

Furthermore, Shiny Gible will be accessible throughout the event. Blue skin and a golden belly distinguish this variation. Shiny Gible, like all Shiny Pokemon, will be rather uncommon, however using an Incense will boost your chances of meeting one.

June's Community Day Move: Earth Power

If you can develop Gabite (Gible's evolved form) into Garchomp during June's Community Day or up to two hours after the event concludes, your Pokemon will learn the Ground-type Charged Attack Earth Power immediately. This is the only method Garchomp can learn this move in Pokemon Go right now.

June's Community Day Hours

The June Community Day will last six hours, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. local time. This means you'll have until 7 p.m. local time to develop Gible into an Earth Power-wielding Garchomp.

June Community Day Bonuses

Niantic is also delivering an unique Special Research tale for June's Community Day, in addition to higher Gible spawning. Just a Nibble is the tale, and it gives you additional opportunities to capture the Land Shark Pokemon and gain other benefits. To access the Special Research narrative, you must first acquire a $1 USD virtual ticket from Pokemon Go's in-game store.

In addition, on June's Community Day, Niantic will be offering a unique item package. The package costs 1,280 PokeCoins and contains the following items:

  • 50 Ultra Balls

  • 5 Incense

  • 5 Lucky Eggs

  • 1 Elite Charged TM

Gible has been confirmed as the Pokemon Go Community Day headliner for June, 2021. That’s not all, either, as Garchomp’s Pokemon Go moveset is about to change with an exclusive Earth Power move.

Following Swablu, who will be the show's headliner in May, comes Gible, the first in the evolutionary line that leads to the gigantic Salamence.

Following the Xerneas Luminous Legends X event in May, there had been conjecture that the devs might switch to a Fairy-type, but there are currently no questions to be addressed in that respect.

When’s the next Community Day in Pokemon Go?

Gible has been confirmed as the next Community Day headliner, taking place on June 6, 2021.

The event will take place between 11am to 5pm local time, no matter where you are in the world. The news was confirmed on May 7, 2021 by the official Pokemon Go App Twitter account.

How to prepare for Gible Community Day in June

If you’re looking to take part in the Gible Community Day event, there’s a few things you can do to prepare.

  1. Get as many Pokecoins as you can in Pokemon Go!

  2. Spend your Pokecoins on at least two Incenses!

  3. Bring many Poke Balls with you!

  4. Collect as much Pokemon Candy as you can for Gible, so you can evolve it!

Gible Exclusive move: Garchomp Earth Power Pokemon Go

Earth Power, Garchomp's unique move, will be released in June.

Niantic disclosed a new exclusive Community Day move in a blog post on May 20. Gabite, Gible's evolution, will learn the Earth Power attack if you develop it into Garchomp.

Players will also have two hours after the Day finishes to develop their Gabite, so if you missed it during the event, you still have time to grab the unique move.

Gible Community Day bonuses

The following was confirmed in the official blog post by Niantic:

  • 3× Catch XP

  • Incense activated during the event will last for three hours

Community Day Box

There will be a special Community Day Box available to buy for 1,280 PokéCoins, for the Gible event. It will feature the following:

  • 50 Ultra Balls

  • Five Incense

  • Five Lucky Eggs

  • Elite Charged TM

Just a Nibble Special Research story

In Pokemon Go, there will also be a new Community Day-exclusive Special Research Story called Just a Nibble.

The event will be ticketed, and each ticket will cost $1. (or equivalent in your local currency).

You may access the Gible Community Day-exclusive Special Research article, Just a Nibble, for $1 (or the corresponding price tier in your local currency). This Special Research will not contain an in-game medal, but it is something fans should keep an eye out for.

Shiny Gible Pokemon Go catch rate and Shiny odds

Gible is rare in Pokemon Go.

Catch rates for Headliner Pokemon are raised during Pokemon Go Community Day events. The Shiny catch rate is the same.

Shiny Pokemon are the most difficult to find in-game, and many Trainers attribute their successful encounters to Community Days. Maybe you'll get a Shiny Gible as part of the action this time! There's also a 3x Capture XP boost, so try to catch as many as possible.

Gible Community Day Special Research

For the Gible Community Day, there is a series of optional Special Research projects, as is customary. It is called "Just a Nibble" and costs $1 USD in the game Shop.
