Biology
Bidoof is a rodent-like brown Pokémon with four short legs. It has a tiny, red nose and a short, dark brown snout. Its underbelly and face are covered with cream-colored patterns. Its tail is made up of five round tufts of hair on the male and three on the female. The underside of its face is lined with similar tufts, and its ears are formed by two distinct tufts. Bidoof has three toes with some webbing between them on his black paws. Large incisors protrude from Bidoof's top jaw, which it uses to nibble on wood and pebbles. Bidoof always keeps an unpretentious face.
Because these teeth are continually growing, this Pokémon must nibble on hard objects to keep them ground down. Bidoof's teeth develop at a comparable pace as Rattata's. This Pokémon may be seen nesting in bunches near bodies of water, frequently constructing a dam nest to dwell in. Bidoof's food consists of logs and rocks that he eats with his front teeth. Despite its bulk, this Pokémon is nimble and not easily frightened. There have been several reports of Bidoof casually approaching towns to nibble on houses with little regard for their safety.
