Niantic offered Pokemon Go users the opportunity to vote for the game's next featured Pokemon on May's Community Day, and the winning monster was Weedle. Throughout June's Community Day, the Bug/Poison type will occur in the wild considerably more often than normal, making this an excellent time to stock up on Weedle Candy. Not only will Weedle be easier to locate during the event, but you'll also get your first opportunity in the game to capture a Shiny Weedle. To obtain one, you'll need a little luck; Shiny Pokemon are normally fairly uncommon, but the increased Weedle spawns should assure you catch one if you're persistent enough.June's Community Day Move: Drill Run
If you successfully develop each Community Day's featured Pokemon into its final form before the conclusion of the event, it will learn a special move. This month's special move is Drill Run, a Ground-type Charged attack. If you successfully transform Kakuna, Weedle's evolved form, into Beedrill up to two hours after the Community Day finishes, it will learn Drill Run immediately. This applies to any Kakuna that develops during that time period, regardless of whether you captured it before the event.June Community Day Hours
This month's Community Day, like the previous two, will last six hours rather than three, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. local time. This means you have till 7 p.m. local time to develop Kakuna and acquire a Beedrill that understands Drill Run.Other Bonuses
Niantic is making a few extra in-game benefits accessible for June's Community Day, in addition to increased Weedle spawning. To begin, each time you capture a Pokemon throughout the event, you will get triple Stardust. Furthermore, any Incense you use will be active for three hours rather than the regular 30 minutes. In addition, Niantic will offer a special Community Day package in Pokemon Go's in-game store, which will contain the following items:- 1 Elite Charged TM
- 30 Ultra Balls
- 3 Star Pieces
- 3 Incense
