Snivy Community Day is Here!
Pokemon Go's April Community Day is here. This month's event takes place today, April 11, all across the globe, and it includes the Grass-type Pokemon Snivy. To help you prepare, here's everything you need to know about Pokemon Go's April Community Day, from the start time to the incentives offered.
The weather has finally improved, at least in the Northeast. It's been a long, difficult winter for a variety of reasons, but between the last Pokemon GO community day and this one, little buds began to appear on the trees, and now we've got cherries and magnolias in full bloom, with some of them even starting to shed their petals and transition into full leaves. Which suggests that now is an excellent moment for a grass-type beginning. Snivvy is April's community day Pokemon, so keep reading for start/end timings, date, research, move, bonus, and shiny information.
Start/End Times:I believe we can stop referring to these extra hours as such and just accept that this is the new normal. Snivy will have a community day on Sunday, April 11, from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time.
The Pokemon:To be honest, I don't get this one. The most of the starters are a combination of fun, naughty, adorable, and everything else you can think of, but Snivy is...aloof? A conceited lizard? Who chose a conceited lizard as their starter? It's not the worst in terms of usability, but I've never really liked it. It develops into Servine and eventually Serperior, both of which are conceited lizards.
Research:As is customary, a $1 research tale will be available in the store. This one is named "Snivy in the Sunshine," and we'll learn more about it once the event gets underway in New Zealand. However, they are usually very similar.
Shiny: A slight shift for this one. You’re looking for teal, a little bit deeper than the usual coloring. It retains this throughout evolution, though with Servine it also gets a bit of an orange instead of red on its collar. It is understated and tasteful, which is just what you would expect out of Snivy.
The Move:If you develop a Servine during the event or up to two hours thereafter, you'll obtain a Serperior that learns Frenzy Plany, which is always a good option for PvP. I don't believe this puts Serperior in the top tier, but you must catch 'em all, right?
The Bonus:We're receiving triple catch stardust in addition to three-hour incense, so pop a star piece for some incredible stardust bonuses. There is no such thing as too much stardust, whether it's for trading, evolving, or purchasing new moves, so stock up.
April 2021 Featured Pokemon: Snivy
Snivy, the Grass-type starter from Pokemon Black and White, is the featured Pokemon for April's Community Day. Snivy will occur in the wild more often than normal over the festival, so capture as many as you can and load up on Snivy Candy, which you'll need to develop the Pokemon.
The higher Snivy spawns also boost your chances of catching a Shiny Snivy. While Shiny variations will remain uncommon, with a little patience, you should be able to discover a couple. Using an Incense during the event increases your chances of meeting a Shiny Snivy.
April's Community Day Move: Frenzy Plant
Servine, Snivy's evolved form, may be developed into Serperior during the event or up to two hours later, and the Pokemon will know Frenzy Plant. This strong Grass-type Charged Attack can only be learnt during Community Days, so you must develop Servine within the time range specified to receive the move.
April's Community Day Hours
The April Community Day will be held for six hours, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. local time. This means you have until 7 p.m. local time to develop Servine into a Serperior who understands Frenzy Plant.
Community Day Special Research
During this month's Community Day, in addition to increased Snivy spawns, there will be an event-exclusive Special Research tale focusing on Snivy. Snivy in the Sunshine is the Special Research narrative, and you'll need to buy a virtual ticket to access it. This ticket costs $1 USD and will be available in the Pokemon Go in-game store before to the event.
Other Community Day Bonuses
Several extra perks will be available during Community Day in April. To begin, each time you catch a Pokemon during the event, you will get three times the regular amount of Stardust. Furthermore, any Incense you use will be active for three hours rather than the regular 60 minutes. Finally, a Community Day item bundle will be available for purchase in Pokemon Go's in-game store. The bundle costs 1,280 PokeCoins and comes with the following items:

Trainers, finally, at the end of 2019, there is a new event in Pokémon GO - the Evolution Event. By observing Pokémon, we find the wonderful thing - they can turn into amazing and cool creatures. But sometimes they just need a little spur or help. Let's note how our Pokémon have grown this year with the first ever evolution event. In addition, the corresponding raid day will take place.
The evolution of a Pokémon can depend on whether it is of a specific gender or has spent time as a Buddy Pokémon. Sometimes evolution occurs due to certain objects, time of day, or bait modules ... During this event, you will be able to explore all of these unique ways of developing Pokémon.
