Pokémon GO Week in Korea 2017 Event

Trainers, an official Pokemon GO event is planned for November in South Korea. Further information regarding the Pokemon Festa 2017 event, which will take place from November 4 to November 12, 2017, has been provided by Niantic and The Pokemon Company.

Pokémon GO Week in Korea 2017 Event is Here!

pokemon-go-legendary-1011693 Unlike our last article, Pokemon Festa is a countrywide event that takes place across South Korea, rather than only in the Lotte World Mall in Seoul. During the event, the country's Pokemon spawn rates will be raised. From November 10 to 12, the Legendary Kanto Birds Articuno, Moltres, Zapdos, and Lugia will reemerge in Raid Battles in Seoul (except the Lotte World Mall region). Unown and Mr. Mime will both be catchable in the wild. It's unknown what will happen at Lotte World Mall, so please stay tuned for further information. Many people have stopped playing Pokémon Go, last year's big popular smartphone game, but fans in Korea are now getting a taste of the action now that it has released in their nation. That's right, six months after the rest of the globe got into the title, this summer's phenomenon has finally (officially) arrived on Korean territory. The Korean debut has been problematic since Google Maps is blocked in the nation for safety reasons, which is a huge issue for Pokémon Go because it depends on the service's data. "We have waited a long time and worked extremely hard to bring Pokémon Go to South Korea," said Pokémon Korea CEO Jae Boem, according to Reuters.   As Google failed many times to get its mapping service approved in Korea, Niantic was obliged to create an alternative. The corporation did not go into specifics about their solution, instead stating that they "used different publicly available data sources." This may seem to be a lot of work, but it has the potential to be well worth it given that Korea is one of the world's most profitable gaming marketplaces. With over 25 million players, analyst company Newzoo ranks sixth, with "annual average expenditure per paying gamer among the highest in the world." Mobile is the leading media, with mobile games alone expected to earn $2 billion in sales in 2017. While today is the first official day of the game's release, dedicated Pokémon enthusiasts have been abusing loopholes to play the game in distant locations where Google's mapping service is allowed. This summer, the seaside village of Sokcho, situated on Korea's east coast on the border with North Korea, became a hotbed for the game. According to the Associated Press, specific tour and travel packages were established for desperate players looking to get their Pokémon fix, while local businesses and eateries embraced Pokémon and its characters to attract transient visitors.

My Thoughts About Pokémon GO Week in Korea 2017 Event

Pokémon Korea will have a supplemental event called 'Pokémon Festa' at the Jamsil Lotte World Tower and Mall, where guests will be treated to a Pikachu-themed procession and the opportunity to shop for souvenirs at a Pokémon pop-up store. pokemon_go_players_in_korea_standing_next_to_team_instinct_and_team_mystic_leaders_spark_and_blanche_pogo   Official Announcement:
