Litwick Community Day is Here! Litwick Burns Bright in Pokémon GO’s October 2022 Community Day

Pokémon GO flames to please with a featured Ghost-type Charged Attack, event bonuses, a Special Research story, and more.

None of the Pokémon previously shown on Community Days in Pokémon GO can compete with October's featured Pokémon. The Ghost- and Fire-type Litwick will be more common in the wild on October 15, 2022, from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. local time. Trainers who are lucky enough may even come across a Shiny one! To gain a Chandelure that learns the Charged Attack Poltergeist, evolve Lampent, Litwick's Evolution, into Chandelure during the event or up to five hours later. This incredibly eerie Ghost-type move is making its Pokémon GO premiere, so don't miss out. This Community Day is going to be epic—the following perks will be active during the event.

• 3× XP for catching Pokémon
• 2× chance for Trainers Level 31+ to receive Candy XL for catching Pokémon
• 2× Candy for catching Pokémon
• Lure Modules activated during the event last for three hours
• Incense (excluding Daily Adventure Incense) activated during the event will last for three hours
• Trades require 50% less Stardust (from 2:00 to 10:00 p.m. on Community Day)
• One additional Special Trade can be made for a maximum of two for the day (from 2:00 to 10:00 p.m. on Community Day)

The Special Research article "Field Notes: Trick of the Light" might brighten your Community Day. Trainers may buy tickets in-game at $1.00 USD (or the equivalent pricing tier in your local currency). Trainers may also buy tickets for friends with whom they have a friendship level of Great Friends or above. When buying a ticket, just touch the Gift button to offer the gift of luminous research. Certain limitations apply.

Bonus Raids

From 5:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. local time, you may continue the Community Day fun by battling Lampent in four-star Raid Battles. After beating Lampent in a Raid Battle, Litwick will emerge for 30 minutes in a 300-meter radius surrounding the Gym that hosted the raid. Trainers who are lucky enough may even come across a Shiny one! These four-star raids are only accessible via Raid Passes and Premium Battle Passes; they cannot be joined with a Remote Raid Pass. Saturday, October 15, 2022, between 5:00 and 10:00 p.m. local time Trainers will be allowed to engage in four-star Raid Battles once the three-hour Community Day event concludes. When you win one of these raids, extra Litwick will spawn surrounding the Gym that hosted the raid for 30 minutes!

Lampent will appear in four-star raids! You can only join these raids using Raid Passes and Premium Battle Passes. Remote Raid Passes cannot be used to join these raids.

Litwick will spawn in a 300-meter radius surrounding the Gym that hosted the raid for 30 minutes if you successfully finish a four-star Raid Battle against Lampent. If you're fortunate, you could come upon a Shiny one! * *Litwick that emerge under these conditions have the same probability of debuting as a Shiny Pokémon as those that occur during the three-hour Community Day event period in October.

This live session will take held from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm local time, so Trainers do not need to worry about time differences. Unlike smaller Spotlight Hours, this Community Day includes enhanced Wild Encounters with Litwick, 3 Catch XP, 3-Hour Lure Modules, 2 Catch Candy, and a 2 chance of earning XL Candy from capturing Pokémon. Furthermore, on Litwick Community Day in Pokémon GO, Trainers will be able to perform two Special Trades instead of one every day, and any Trades conducted will cost 50% less Stardust. These perks will be accessible during the event. Trainers may also participate in Four-Star Raid Battles with Lampent, Litwick's evolved form, once the 3-hour period has ended. When you complete one of these Raids, Litwick's Spawn Rate boost will appear in a 300-meter radius surrounding the Raid's Gym. This effect will be replicated on Saturday, October 15, 2022, from 5 p.m. until 10 p.m.

Trainers should stock up on Poké Balls, notably Great Balls and Ultra Balls in Pokémon GO, as one of the first things they should do to prepare for Litwick Community Day. It would be a tragedy if hundreds of Litwicks spawned, but players lack the Poké Balls necessary to capture them. Pinap Berries are another important resource, particularly for those hoping to develop Litwick with the Candy obtained from this Community Day.

How To Prepare For Litwick Community Day In Pokémon GO

  Making sure one's Pokémon Storage has adequate space to house an abundance of Litwicks is also an important step in preparation for this Community Day in Pokémon GO. As a result, Trainers should look through their Storage and get rid of any superfluous pocket monster duplicates or ones that aren't worth keeping, such as Alolan Raticate. Trainers should also consider the possible XP rewards from Litwick Community Day in Pokémon GO, according to the YouTube channel The Trainer Club. In other words, participants should think about how they may maximize the 3 Catch XP boost throughout the event's length.
