Holiday 2017 Event

This year's Pokemon Go holiday event has been officially announced by Niantic. The event offers a variety of advantages to players, the most thrilling of which is the appearance of ice and water type Pokemon from generation three of the main games (Pokemon Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald) on December 21 at 1 p.m. PST/ 4 p.m. EST. This is in addition to the 50 Gen 3 Pokémon that were released two weeks ago.

Holiday 2017 Event is Here!

Niantic announced the addition of 20 new Pokémon to the game, but did not specify which ones. Feebas, Milotic, Wailmer, Snorunt, Luvdisc, Relicanth, and the Legendary Pokemon Kyogre, on the other hand, are featured in their blog article. We may expect to see the evolution stages of the Pokémon indicated above (for those who have them). pokemon_go_holiday_2017_loading_screen_featuring_hoenn_pokemon-Holiday 2017 Event Spheal and Wingull emerged during the Holiday loading screen, implying that water-type Pokemon and their evolutions would very probably be included in the game. It's also possible that the gen two Pokemon Delibird will feature in the game, given that its design and gift-giving move are influenced by Santa Claus. Pokemon Go Hub revealed in-game code linked to Delibird's signature attack. This was given earlier in December.   Stantler, a Gen 2 Pokémon that looks like a reindeer, is another possibility for the holiday occasion. According to Bulbapedia, the Pokémon may be seen carrying Santa's sleigh in the Pokemon anime when he first appears. It can also learn Take Down in the main Pokemon games, according to Bulbapedia. The move was found in the game's code during a datamine in November. Yet, no reports of the Pokemon being in the game have been made. Below is a list of the new Pokemon. We will update the list as we get definitive proof of each Pokemon’s existence.

According to Redditor Scribnerd, Wailmer is also a Raid Boss. A Pikachu wearing a Santa Claus hat will spawn on December 21 at 1 p.m. PST/4 p.m. EST. Ice-type Pokémon will also start appearing more often. From December 21 through December 25, at 1 p.m. PST/ 4 p.m. EST, special boxes will be available in-game, featuring Super Incubators, Lure Modules, and the brand new Star Pieces, which create more Stardust for 30 minutes when triggered. Special boxes will feature Premium Raid Passes, Super Incubators, and Star Pieces from December 25 to January 4, 2018. Niantic has enabled Pokemon Go AR+ support to iOS 11 for iPhone 6s and later devices. AR+ superimposes Pokemon in the real world by putting them in a fixed location in space. Also, a new awareness system lets you to creep up on Pokemon without frightening them away. Catching a Pokemon near to you boosts your chances of earning Great and Excellent Throw bonuses, but sneaking up on Pokemon earns you an Expert Handler bonus, which provides you additional XP and Stardust. When Pokemon GO launches next week, it may be accompanied by a one-of-a-kind event. Google Play teases what's to come in Taiwan. Second, it seems like Niantic is working on special sale boxes that will include an incubator and a new "starpiece" item. Additional Pokemon from the Hoenn region are mentioned, as well as the existence of Delibird. Gamers should also be able to see Pikachu wearing a Santa hat. We expect Niantic to disclose official details about their upcoming Christmas event for Pokemon GO very shortly. When Pokemon GO launches next week, it may be accompanied by a one-of-a-kind event. Pokémon GO may soon include a red-and-white Pokémon that throws gifts at its opponents. It's not an irate Santa Claus – it's Delibird! Delibird is an Ice/Flying type and one of the few remaining Generation III Pokémon not available in Pokémon GO. Its hallmark move is "Present," in which it tosses a wrapped present at its opponent, with the option of doing huge damage or healing them. As such, it is known as the "Delivery Pokémon." "Deli"bird, anyone? Delibird is said to be a part of Pokémon GO's festive holiday season event, which begins today, Thursday, at 4 p.m. Eastern. Yep, Festive Pikachu has returned, but this time he's bringing some cold companions, according to Niantic's Pokémon GO Blog: "In addition to more Ice-type Pokémon arriving across the globe, new Water-type and Ice-type Pokémon found in the Hoenn area in the Pokémon Ruby and Pokémon Sapphire video games will make their debut appearance in Pokémon GO."

Look who's returned on This Holiday 2017 Event

Holiday 2017 Event Delibird is very certainly among the "frosty buddies" that Festive Pikachu is inviting "along for the fun," since Ruby and Sapphire were the flagship Generation III games. Consider Delibird to be the Christmas-themed Farfetch'd, as the "quirky bird" archetype from the second generation of Pokémon. Instead of a strange leek as a weapon, he holds gifts — and he has a lot of personality in the anime. Delibird is the Pokémon equivalent of Santa Claus, and possibly more festive than Festive Pikachu, since rather than merely attempting to appear adorable in themed headgear, Delibird actually participates in the holiday spirit by giving out gifts to Pokémon. Delibird presents Totodile with a lovely Christmas gift.

Yet, if you're still suspicious about Delibird's presence, the bird was accessible in a recent demo of AR+ on the iPhone X, as IGN reported on Wednesday. Therefore it's almost guaranteed that Delibird will be available in the wild as soon as the holiday event begins on Thursday. As an extra bonus, every PokéStop visit between December 22 at 4 p.m. Eastern and December 25 at 4 p.m. Eastern will net you a free single-use Egg incubator. Exclusive offers and goodies, such as Super Incubators, Lure Modules, and all-new Star Pieces that give you additional Stardust for 30 minutes, will also be available in the store from now until Christmas day at 4 p.m. Eastern. Next, from January 4 to January 8, boxes will include Premium Raid Passes, Super Incubators, and Star Pieces. So there's no better time than now to stock up on this stuff. This year's Christmas event for Pokémon GO begins on December 21 at 4 p.m. Eastern and goes through January 4, with numerous bonuses available until then. https://pokemongocentral.one/holiday-2017-event-pokemon-go/?feed_id=71510&_unique_id=63f97bd8aa422
