Hatchathon 2020

Trainers, get your incubators ready for the Pokemon GO Adventure Sync Hatchathon 2020 special event.

During this event, you can be rewarded with additional Stardust, Rare Candies and Unova stoneif you walk a certain distance. We can find Pokémon wearing holiday caps, hatching eggs and meeting them in the wild.

Adventure Sync Hatchathon Event 2020

  • Event starts on Thursday, January 2, 2020 at 13:00 PST (GMT −8);
  • Event ends on Thursday, January 16, 2020 at 13:00 PST (GMT −8);
  • You can find Pichu and Wurmple wearing a hat in a 2km egg;
  • Also, you will have a chance to hatch Pichu with a cap from eggs 7 km;
  • In two-star raids you can challenge Raticate and Wobbuffet, who are wearing holiday hats;
  • In the wild, we will find Pikachu wearing a cap;
  • If you're lucky, you might run into Shiny Raticate, Pikachu, Pichu, Wobbuffet, and Wurmple - all wearing hats;
  • We get double candies when hatching eggs;
  • Double stardust when laying eggs;
  • The award for Adventure-Sync there will be 50 stardust, 000 rare candies and a guaranteed Unova stone if you walk 15 km during the event;
  • The Style Store has items for the 2020 theme.

Starring Wurmple, Pichu, Pikachu, and more

To christen the new decade, Pokemon Go is hosting an Adventure Sync Hatchathon event through Thursday, January 16 at 1pm PT / 4pm ET / 9pm BT. As a recent datamine(opens in new tab) suggested, during the event, players will be able to catch special New Years Pokemon sporting party hats, including Shiny Raticate. A Shiny in a party hat? Now that's festive. This is a Hatchathon after all, so there's plenty of emphasis on Pokemon Eggs. Two special Pokemon may hatch from 2km eggs: party hat Pichu and Wurmple. Pichu may also hatch from 7km Eggs. For wild spawns, we've got party hat Pikachu, which I dearly hope is based on the party hat Pikachu from Super Smash Bros. Finally, two-star raids will have a chance of featuring Wobbuffett or Shiny Raticate, both wearing party hats as well. In addition to a shot at these special Pokemon, players will receive double Hatch Candy and Hatch Stardust throughout the event. The Adventure Sync reward this time around unlocks at 50km walked, and will net you 50,000 Stardust, 15 Rare Candies, and an Unova Stone used to evolve some Gen 5 Pokemon.

Trainers, Ready those Incubators! The Adventure Sync Hatchathon is back, and it’s the perfect time to get a leg up on your New Year’s resolutions. During the Adventure Sync Hatchathon, you can be rewarded with extra Stardust, Rare Candies, and a Unova Stone if you walk a certain distance. You can find Pokémon wearing party hats by hatching Eggs and encountering Pokémon in the wild, too.   • You might be able to hatch a Pichu or Wurmple wearing a party hat from a 2 km Egg.
  • You’ll have the chance to hatch Pichu wearing party hats from 7 km Eggs.
  • In two-star raids, you’ll have the chance to challenge Raticate and Wobbuffet wearing party hats.
  • In the wild, Pikachu wearing party hats will be available to catch.
  • If you’re lucky, you might encounter Shiny Raticate, Pikachu, Pichu, Wobbuffet, and Wurmple—all of them wearing party hats!
