Biology

Makuhita is a big-boned bipedal Pokémon. The majority of its body is yellow, but it has a black mark on its breast that continues all the way around its neck. Its hands are round and resemble black boxing gloves, while its feet are yellow and have two visible toes. It bears crimson, ring-shaped patterns on its cheeks and slit-like eyes. A knot on top of its skull gives it the appearance of a punching bag.

Makuhita is a brave character that never quits up, no matter how many times he is struck down. Each time it rises back up, it stores energy in its body. Because it trains by slapping and smashing against trees, broken trees often surround its nest. It is known to confuse Exeggutor for a tree and is often thrown away as a consequence. This Pokémon consumes a lot of food and sleeps a lot. Its hard training and lifestyle have resulted in a strong physique that can endure any assault. It is located in mountainous places, where it lives and trains. Despite being transported from another location to Alola, Makuhita found in Alola are more renowned than those found in other regions.

The only known Pokémon capable of learning the move Smelling Salts through leveling up are Makuhita and its evolved form, Hariyama. Arm Thrust was also one of their defining techniques prior to Generation V.

Pokemon Makuhita - Generation 3 Pokemon ranked 296 in the Pokedex... He is a combatant who resides in the Hoenn area. Pokémon Makuhita develops into Pokemon Hariyama after consuming 50 sweets.
