Day One - Saturday, July 25thGlobal Challenge Arena
The first day of Pokémon Go Fest will be separated into five rotating habitats, each focused on a particular group of Pokémon that suit the habitat's theme.
The habitats are:
Fire
Water
Grass
Battle
Friendship
The event is going virtual this year.
Pokemon Go Fest is one of the most important annual events in Pokemon Go, bringing together thousands of trainers in the real world to play and celebrate their love of Pokemon. While earlier Pokemon Go Fest events have taken place in places such as Chicago, Illinois and Yokohama, Japan, this year's event will be staged on a worldwide scale, enabling trainers from all over the globe to participate regardless of where they reside.
Pokemon Go Fest 2020 will take place on July 25 and 26, 2020. While the event will be virtual (you won't have to go to a certain place or nation to participate), it will still be a paid experience.
While we don't have many specifics about how this event will function (for example, when tickets will be available), Niantic, the creator of Pokemon Go, did share a small glimpse of what players may anticipate in a press post:
“While we’ll miss the traditional congregation of Pokémon GO fans, we’re thrilled to bring a special Pokémon GO Fest experience to Trainers. Not only are you in for an exciting weekend of bonuses, Pokémon encounters, and Special Research, there will also be exciting ways to connect with other Trainers and experience other fun surprises throughout the entire summer.”
We'll keep you updated when more information regarding Pokemon Go Fest 2020 becomes available, so stay tuned!
Each habitat will emerge twice during the day, making it difficult to miss your opportunity to capture one of the 75+ Pokémon that might appear throughout the day.
You'll also be able to participate in the Global Task Arena, where you may join up with other players from all around the globe to finish a challenge every hour. If this task is successfully accomplished, a global bonus for the remainder of this hour will be unlocked.
Finally, on the first day of the event, there will be a new Special Research mission that can only be achieved by signing into Pokémon Go.
Day Two - Sunday, July 26th
Day Two grants access to a new Special Research questline, Rocket Straight to Victory, which rewards you with a mythological Pokémon (no spoilers!).
You may complete this Special Research questline anytime you like, so don't stress about finishing it by the conclusion of Go Fest. You must, however, check in to Pokémon Go on this day or else you will lose out on the Special Research.

Pokémon Go Fest 2020 weekly challenges explained
Whether or whether you intend to attend Pokémon Go Fest 2020, every trainer across the globe will be able to participate in the weekly challenges leading up to the event.
There will be three rounds of Timed Research tasks in total, each running in the week before Pokémon Go Fest 2020.
The deadlines for these Timed Research tasks are as follows:
Week One - Skill - Friday, 3rd July to Wednesday, 8th July
Week Two - Battle - Friday, 10th July to Wednesday, 15th July
Week Three - Friendship - Friday 17th July to Wednesday, 22th July
This time frame would allow for the final Timed Research challenges to finish the day before Pokémon Go Fest 2020 begins.
Completing the Timed Research lines will help unlock extra Pokémon for the Pokémon Go Fest 2020 weekend, so completing these tasks is in your best interest if you intend on attending the event.
Though we don't know much about the challenges yet, they might function similarly to the previous Throwback Tasks, which were also Timed Research challenges focusing on a single area of the Pokémon universe, such as Sinnoh.

Pokemon GO Community Days are usually a fantastic chance for lovers of the game. Community Days is a special day ( especially this December 2021 Pokemon Community Day ) not only encourage Pokemon GO users to gather and play as a group, but they are also valuable chances to locate uncommon Pokemon in large numbers, such as starter Pokemon from throughout the franchise's regions.
As is customary, Pokemon GO will end the year with a December Community Day, which will include powered-up Incense, enhanced Stardust earnings, and special packages to keep fans stocked throughout the event. However, unlike most others, December 2021 will not have a Community Day. The day is divided into two days of exceptional incentives that do not revolve around a single Pokemon.
December 2021 Pokemon Community Day is Here!
Niantic has revealed that the two Community Days in December, which will take place on the weekend of December 18th and 19th, will honor different Pokemon featured in past...
