The August Community Day for Pokemon Go is come. This month's event takes place this weekend, August 14-15, and includes Eevee, a Pokemon that has previously appeared in a Community Day. Despite this, there will be new event moves and other perks available during the event, including an easier method to get Sylveon. Here's all you need to know about Pokemon Go's Community Day weekend in August 2021.
Eevee Community Day:Everything you need to know about this weekend-long event.
Niantic, the creator of Pokemon Go, has revealed the featured Pokemon for August 2021's Community Day event, as reported by PokeMiners: Eevee.
Eevee was originally featured in the August 2018 Community Day event, although Sylveon was unavailable at the time. Eevee is returning to the limelight for a weekend-long event now that Sylveon has been released.
The Pokemon Go Community Day event in August 2021 will take place on August 14 and 15 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. local time.
During these two time periods, Eevee will occur in the wild more often than usual, and you will have the possibility to meet Shiny Eevee. You may also take Pokemon Snapshots to encounter even more Eevee.
Eggs will hatch after traveling just 1/4 of the typical needed distance during August's Community Day event, as long as they are put in Incubators within the event time. Furthermore, Incense and Lure Modules triggered during the event will each last three hours.
While these benefits will be accessible from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. local time on both August 14 and 15, even additional features and incentives will be available throughout the weekend.
From Friday, August 13 at 10 a.m. PT through Monday, August 16 at 10 a.m. PT, every caught or hatched Eevee will know the move Last Resort. During this period, if you develop Eevee into any of its eight evolutions, it will learn a new move:
Vaporeon - Scald
Jolteon - Zap Cannon
Flareon - Superpower
Espeon - Shadow Ball
Umbreon - Psychic
Leafeon - Bullet Seed
Glaceon - Water Pulse
Sylveon - Psyshock
During this weekend-long event, you will be able to develop Eevee into Sylveon after just seven hearts with Eevee as your Buddy, rather of the usual 70 hearts.
Additionally, during this period, players will be able to perform Timed Research activities to acquire a Mossy Lure Module and a Glacial Lure Module, which may be used to develop Eevee into Leafeon and Glaceon, respectively.
Finally, throughout this event, there will be two options for spending real money.
To begin, gamers will be able to buy a Community Day Box for 1,280 PokeCoins. This package includes 50 Ultra Balls, five Incense sticks, an Elite Fast TM, and an Elite Charged TM.
Following that, players will be able to pay $1 on a ticket that will provide them access to the "What You Choose to Be" Special Research plotline. We'll notify you when such tickets become available.
Remember, no actual money is necessary to participate in Pokemon Go's Community Day celebrations. These features are only available to users that are willing to invest real money to get more in-game stuff.
August 2021 Featured Pokemon: Eevee
During this weekend-long event, instead of the typical 70 hearts, you will be able to evolve Eevee into Sylveon after just seven hearts with Eevee as your Buddy.
During this time, players will also be able to engage in Timed Research activities to get a Mossy Lure Module and a Glacial Lure Module, which may be used to evolve Eevee into Leafeon and Glaceon, respectively.
Finally, there will be two ways to spend real money during the event.
To begin, players may purchase a Community Day Box for 1,280 PokeCoins. This set comes with 50 Ultra Balls, five Incense sticks, an Elite Fast TM, and an Elite Charged TM.
Following that, players may spend $1 on a ticket to get access to the "What You Choose to Be" Special Research storyline. When such tickets become available, we will inform you.
Remember that no real money is required to take part in Pokemon Go's Community Day activities. These features are only accessible to users who are prepared to spend real money in order to get additional in-game items.
August's Community Day Moves
During August's Community Day, Eevee may evolve into one of eight different Pokemon, each of which can learn an unique event-exclusive move. Between August 13 and 16, any Eevee you develop will learn the following attacks:
Vaporeon: Scald
Jolteon: Zap Cannon
Flareon: Superpower
Espeon: Shadow Ball
Umbreon: Psychic
Leafeon: Bullet Seed
Glaceon: Water Pulse
Sylveon: Psyshock
Not only will each Eevee evolution learn a new attack, but Niantic is also making it simpler to get Sylveon during the Community Day event in August. Normally, you need to collect 70 hearts when Eevee is set as your friend Pokemon to develop it into Sylveon, but during August's Community Day, that amount is decreased to only seven.
August's Community Day Hours
August's Community Day, like past events, will last six hours, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. local time each day. However, you'll only have from 10 a.m. local time from August 13 to 10 a.m. local time on August 16 to develop Eevee and learn the Community Day moves.
August Community Day Bonuses
Aside from higher Eevee spawning, a few more in-game incentives will be available on August 14-15 during event hours. First, eggs put in incubators will hatch in a fourth of the time it typically takes. Furthermore, any Lure Modules and Incense you use will last three hours rather than 60 minutes. Finally, during the occasion, Niantic will offer a special item package in Pokemon Go's in-game store. The bundle costs 1,280 PokeCoins and comes with the following items:
Pokemon GO Community Days are usually a fantastic chance for lovers of the game. Community Days is a special day ( especially this December 2021 Pokemon Community Day ) not only encourage Pokemon GO users to gather and play as a group, but they are also valuable chances to locate uncommon Pokemon in large numbers, such as starter Pokemon from throughout the franchise's regions.
As is customary, Pokemon GO will end the year with a December Community Day, which will include powered-up Incense, enhanced Stardust earnings, and special packages to keep fans stocked throughout the event. However, unlike most others, December 2021 will not have a Community Day. The day is divided into two days of exceptional incentives that do not revolve around a single Pokemon.
