Niantic has revealed the plans for Pokémon GO's December 2020 Community Day. This will, as predicted, be a two-day event rehashing prior Community Days... with a catch. Here's what's going on and what you should be aware of.
Niantic took to their Pokémon GO blog to announce:
December Community Day: As we say goodbye to 2020, let's take a look back on the Community Days we shared together. This year, our final Community Day event will be held on Saturday, December 12, and Sunday, December 13, 2020.
Throughout the event, Pokémon featured in Community Day events throughout 2019 and 2020 will be appearing more frequently in the wild and in raids, so this event will be a great time for you to catch Pokémon featured in any Community Day events you may have missed! Stay tuned for more details soon!
Soo December Community Day 2020 is here!
Now, take notice of one important point. Previous recap Community Days included a method to get every previous Community Day Pokémon. In 2018, for example, the December summary included all previously highlighted species in the wild.
2019's summary included 2019 Community Day features in the wild with 2018 raid features. As we go forward into the 2020 recap, there is no mention of any of the 2018 features being accessible.
Among others, prominent Pokémon GO dataminer Kelvin has already rushed to Twitter to report that this implies the 2018 Community Day moves will not be accessible for the recap.
While this may irritate some trainers, I would advise them to be patient and consider what Niantic stated regarding Charizard and Blast Burn earlier this autumn. They have revealed that Blast Burn will be accessible for Charizard during an event in 2021.
Will there be another rehash of prior Community Day elements in 2021, or will this be a Charizard-only event? Or how about a starters-only event? We don't know yet, but there is still hope for those 2018 Community Day Pokémon!

“Different Pokémon will also be appearing in the wild and in Mega Raids on Saturday and Sunday between 11:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. local time. On Saturday, December 12, Pokémon like Weedle, Abra, Gastly, Rhyhorn, Seedot, and Piplup will be appearing more often in the wild, and Mega Gengar will be appearing in Mega Raids.

Each day of December's Community Day event runs from 6 AM to 10 PM local time, but certain Pokemon and Raids will be more common during specific hours. The following Pokemon will be more likely to be Shiny from 11 AM to 5 PM local time each day:
December 12

Furthermore, Mega Gengar Raids will be more numerous on December 12 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., while Mega Charizard X Raids will be more frequent on December 13.
Other Bonuses
In addition to the enhanced Pokemon spawning, Niantic will provide a few benefits throughout the Community Day weekend in December. Every day of the event, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. local time, you'll receive twice as much Stardust for catching Pokemon.
Furthermore, eggs will hatch at a fraction of the normal distance, and any Incense you apply will be active for three hours.
This is a fantastic move by Niantic that will enable gamers who may not have a single day to participate in the annual Pokemon GO Community Day Event to do so throughout the whole weekend! Catch me outdoors capturing a shiny Magikarp till the event concludes on December 13!

Trainers, finally, at the end of 2019, there is a new event in Pokémon GO - the Evolution Event. By observing Pokémon, we find the wonderful thing - they can turn into amazing and cool creatures. But sometimes they just need a little spur or help. Let's note how our Pokémon have grown this year with the first ever evolution event. In addition, the corresponding raid day will take place.
The evolution of a Pokémon can depend on whether it is of a specific gender or has spent time as a Buddy Pokémon. Sometimes evolution occurs due to certain objects, time of day, or bait modules ... During this event, you will be able to explore all of these unique ways of developing Pokémon.
