Biology
Blaziken is a chicken-like bipedal Pokémon. Blaziken's body is mostly red, with touches of beige, yellow, and gray. There are beige, hair-like feathers behind its head that extend lower and around its breast and belly. It has a little red face and a V-shaped crest on the top of its head. Blaziken has semicircular blue eyes with yellow sclerae and a hooked beak for a mouth. It has featherless gray hands with three fingers apiece and three clawed toes that are hidden by the shaggy yellow feathers on the bottom of its legs. A female's mask and hair are shorter than a male's.
Blaziken has powerful, muscular legs that provide it with superior lower-body strength. This lower body strength aids in kicking and leaping. Blaziken's wrists contain gray wristband-like patterns that may cause a tuft of fire to appear above them. Blaziken may also erupt flames from its ankles. This enables it to disguise its feet or fists, which it employs when performing a martial art. Blaze Kick was the hallmark move of Generation III. When it encounters tougher opponents, its flames burn more ferociously. Its old feathers burn off every few years, and fresh, supple feathers develop in their place. While Blaziken is seldom spotted in the wild, it has been observed in meadows.
It loses its yellow markings and develops black markings on its upper legs and chest as Mega Blaziken. Its hair-like feathers form a wing and point upward, while the area surrounding its chest is rough around the shoulders. Its crest transforms into a flat horn that curls backward. The fire it generates on its wrists has grown in length. When Blaziken Mega Evolves into Mega Blaziken, its kicks become more more powerful, which is always a cause of pride for it. Its legs may begin to burn from the friction of the surrounding environment as it performs a flurry of ferocious kicks. Mega Blaziken's strength and speed grow as its body temperature rises.
