Niantic, the creators of Pokemon Go, has revealed the first information about the game's forth coming Community Day. The September event will take place on Saturday, September 22, all around the globe, and will feature one of the starting Pokemon from Gold and Silver.
Chikorita Community Day is revealed and Chikorita, a Grass-type Pokemon, will be the focus of September's Community Day, making it much simpler to locate than normal. During the event, players will have a higher chance of encountering a Chikorita while playing. During the Community Day, the Pokemon will also be able to learn a special move, but Niantic has yet to specify what it will be.
Aside from enhanced Chikorita spawning, September's Community Day will have a few of additional benefits. Players will gain triple the standard amount of XP for catches this time. Furthermore, Lure Modules will be active for three hours instead of the usual 30 minutes.
As is customary, September's Community Day will not be accessible for long. The event will only last three hours, which may vary depending on where you reside on the planet. The complete Community Day schedule for each area is available below, courtesy of the Pokemon Go Live website.
Niantic will conclude the Pokemon Go Summer Tour 2018 with another real-world Safari Zone event in Yokosuka, Japan, from August 29 to September 2 before the next Community Day. Players who are unable to attend the event in person will still be able to complete Global Challenges and contribute to the unlocking of in-game bonuses and awards.
According to Niantic, Chikorita will be the featured Pokemon for Community Day September 2018 in Pokemon Go.
The 2018 Community Day will be place on September 22nd from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. ET.
According to Niantic, Chikorita collected on Community Day will learn an unique move when she evolves into Meganium. We think that since the Kanto starting Pokemon Bulbasaur was able to learn the strong move Frenzy Plant after evolving into Venusaur during the Community Day it was featured in, the Johto starter Pokemon Chikorita will be able to learn Frenzy Plant when it develops into Meganium. However, Niantic has yet to confirm the exclusivity move.
As with past Community Days, we should anticipate a considerable boost in the possibility of obtaining a Shiny variety of Chikorita.
According to Niantic, in addition to having Chikorita appear more often, Community Day will also give triple capture bonus XP and three hour Lure Modules.
Niantic also revealed the dates for the fall's other two Community Days: October 21 and November 10.
The announcement follows the last Community Day on August 11 and 12, which highlighted Eevee and its special move Last Resort.
Niantic's latest Pokémon GO Community Day will be held on Saturday, September 22, for three hours in different places across the world. The global event includes increased Chikorita spawns, the new unique move Frenzy Plant for Meganium, three-hour Lures, and triple catch XP. Meganium that developed on Community Day will be familiar with the Grass-type attack Frenzy Plant. Shiny Chikorita, Shiny Bayleef, and Shiny Meganium have also debuted in Pokémon GO. A special Community Day Box is now available for 480PokéCoins through the in-game shop. This package contains three Egg Incubators, three Lucky Eggs, one Lure Module, and thirty Ultra Balls. Chikorita Community Day is Here!
Community Day is a fan-favorite Pokemon GO monthly event that increases the spawn rate of a certain pokemon, with starters being one of the event's major emphasis. The next Pokemon GO Community Day event, featuring Chikorita, is scheduled for September 22, 2018, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. GMT and 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. EST. Traditionally, when a Pokemon evolves into its ultimate form, it learns an unique exclusive move, which Niantic has just revealed.
Meganium developed during this special event, like Venusaur before it, will learn Frenzy Plant, a unique Community day Grass-Type move. While many will welcome the reintroduction of this unique initial move, it offers nothing for Meganium, since its meta relevance does not alter with the inclusion of this move.
Venusaur, because to its stats, became one of the game's greatest Grass-Type attackers with Frenzy Plant, while Meganium is already regarded as one of the game's worst beginning Pokemon. With Frenzy Plant factored in, Meganium ranks between Tangela and Sunflora in the meta-game. Nonetheless, here's the official announcement:
Those who were disappointed by Meganium's absence of a distinctive, powerful action may be glad that Meganium's event signals a return to the previously established pattern. If the rules are fulfilled, Cyndaquill will get a Community Day in November and Totodile will get one in January 2019. Hopefully, Gen 4 will be accessible in the game before then, giving gamers lots to look forward to this autumn and winter.
Nonetheless, the event provides a number of additional possible perks, such as triple experience for any Pokemon captured during the event and a chance to catch a shiny Chikorita, which isn't presently one of the game's shining pokemon. With this occasion approaching, Ranters, what do you think of Chikorita's Community Day?
Pokemon GO Community Days are usually a fantastic chance for lovers of the game. Community Days is a special day ( especially this December 2021 Pokemon Community Day ) not only encourage Pokemon GO users to gather and play as a group, but they are also valuable chances to locate uncommon Pokemon in large numbers, such as starter Pokemon from throughout the franchise's regions.
As is customary, Pokemon GO will end the year with a December Community Day, which will include powered-up Incense, enhanced Stardust earnings, and special packages to keep fans stocked throughout the event. However, unlike most others, December 2021 will not have a Community Day. The day is divided into two days of exceptional incentives that do not revolve around a single Pokemon.
